An Iowa native, I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design at Iowa State University. I moved to Kansas City in 2003 and have been working as a graphic/web designer since graduation. Over the past several years, using my design knowledge and fine art background, I have rediscovered my passion for fine art, in particular, acrylic painting. My painting style has been compared to a mixture of Impressionism and Pop Art. I like to keep my subjects vibrant and lighthearted. Family-friendly. I believe that if you have a solid foundation in art fundamentals, you can design anything.
